NOT an April Fools’ Day joke, we are actually opening our doors on April 1, 2017. We’ll initially have limited hours and selection as we get adjusted. Our “Grand Opening” will be Friday April 14 with a ribbon cutting at 1 PM.

Hello!
We just found out THIS MORNING that we will be getting our (hopefully last and final) Health Inspection next Thursday. This means, unfortunately, that I will be unable to bake at the beginning of next week (Sun March 12-Thursday March 16). Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, we literally just found out and have to get our space super clean before our inspection…and this means no baking temporarily.
But pretty soon we will be open and not have to deal with all this uncertainty! Finally!
We are still looking for some bakers and baristas, so please send an email to Jen@PoisonBerryBakery.com if you’re interested. Because so far it’s still just me!
Also, it’s just so much easier to respond to emails as opposed to phone calls at this time, so PLEASE email all inquiries still. You have no idea how much it is appreciated.

Hello Berriettes!
As we get closer to making the big switch from house to store, we have to figure out a good time to temporarily pause baking in order to get organized in our new space. We’re going to possibly try this weekend (Jan 27-29), so I may be unavailable to bake for a little bit. I will do what I can, so please still inquire, but please bear with me if I’m unable. Hopefully things go smoothly and we get set up there quickly!

Just as a little update/FYI, my oven has been broken for the entire month of December. So, please bear with me. I’m trying to fulfill what orders I can, and limiting wholesale account baking. I’m sorry for any orders I’ve had to turn away; this has come at a very stressful time, during when we’re trying to get our storefront doors open as well.

The bad luck is everywhere. Our home oven has decided to quit on us, no doubt from all the use it’s had lately. As of right now, I cannot complete any orders for this weekend, until hopefully early next week. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope to resume baking ASAP.

Poison Berry is very close to opening! Yay! We are still waiting on some work to be done (including finishing the kitchen hood, which is a huge job..), but feel as though you all deserve a sneak peek at the space.
The weekend after Thanksgiving (Friday Nov 25, Saturday Nov 26 and Sunday Nov 27; each day 10am-5pm) we will be selling treats, merchandise and coffee/cocoa from our actual store (12210 Larchmere Blvd., Cleveland 44120). Stop by and see us- no judgment please, we are not done yet! This is part of the Larchmere Holiday Stroll, so check out the other shops as well and shop local!

Things are (finally) moving along at a steady pace now. We still do not have an exact open date, but we’re eying you, November. We may be “open” and making things out of the store even before our Grand Opening, while we add the finishing touches in our new space, trying out equipment, etc.
As many of you know, we have truly been put through the ringer dealing with opening this bakery storefront. We’ve dealt with crook carpenters, lazy architects and other contractors that are just plain extremely busy. As we’ve been paying rent for almost two years without opening, our funds are getting low, but we’re still chugging along.

We will be not able to fulfill any orders between the dates of October 22 through November 3, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
The first weekend of October (1st & 2nd) is also filling up fast, I can only fill quick/small orders at this time.

Hello!
After (I know!) a long time waiting and more than our fair share of struggles, we are finally moving toward our Storefront Opening. Keep your fingers crossed for this August!
As for right now, there are a few items that are increasingly difficult to home produce and thus will be no longer available until we are in our store. These include:

A few updates/reminders:
Unfortunately I will not be able to take any orders for the first 2 weekends in June (June 3-5 and June 10-12) and then the following weekend is….Larchmere Porchfest!!!
Stop by our table (by our storefront on Larchmere Blvd.) June 18th for some treats and iced lattes. Bands and events start at 1pm. Coolest event in town.
